We went to Bow Hut on Thanksgiving holidays. This hut is near Crowfoot mountain we hiked on August 20th. There was more snow than expected, but there were not so steep slopes to get the hut, so we could hike without any problems.

From the parking lot. Snow is piled on the mountain.

Looking up Crowfoot Mountain from the trail besides Bow Lake.

A giant rock as a bridge. We were able to climb easily using a stepladder that someone left.

The lower area is somewhat snowy.

We followed the footprints of the another group then entered the off-trail ... We walked uncharted trail for a while.

The upper area has a lot of snow.

Bow Hut which we stayed is in the center of the photo.

Slightly steep slope just under the hut.

Arrived at the hut. The hut is divided into 2 buildings in the kitchen, dining area and the accommodation area. Slippers are the must-have items as the shoes are strictly prohibited here. There was a group saying that it was hot if heating was added and they turned off at night. The lower bed seemed to be cold and people slept on the lower bed could hardly sleep because of the coldness.

The next morning, from the terrace of the hut. When we started going down the weather became worse. The weather in the mountain changes quickly.

While going down, we put the crampons here and there. Especially, just under the hut is steep and the crampons are essential.

It was sunny in the middle of the way down. It was very comfortable.
