Round trip is short and fun scramble! The location close to Calgary is also a good point. You can enjoy both the view of Barrier Lake and Kananaskis. We went to the front one of the three peaks. It is steep and not a great view in the beginning but once that area is passed through it will be a fun route with a lot of scramble and you can enjoy great view. It took four hours with lunch time.
Last year, I went halfway but gave up on my way as my physical strength was not good enough. This is an another try after training my self.

The continuing steep slope in the beginning with no great view get me tiresome. Last year I got tired out here and got down.

When you go through the steep slope you will see the lake (there is a lake on the right hand side of the river). Just a good breakpoint. We took a break shortly here.

The scramble area comes after the break point. This is the fun part.

The trail.

Two meters cliff to climb down is in the middle of the route. It was the most difficult point.

It was easy to scramble because of friable rocky area. It wa a bit scary when the wind blows since some places since some places are likely directly go to the ground if I fall.

The view of Barrier Lake.

Snow accumulated a little around the peak even in the middle of September.

Here is the one of the peaks of Baldy.

Scramble from the top and go down a little. Then we went on the way to the second peak.

We went down the scree slope.

The second and third peaks.

We slided down the scree slope which located right front of the second peak.
